Visual Shmuu rates this game: 5/5Boy this title really can make any retro gamer cry. Namco really busted their ass with this anniversary 2D - 2.5D platformer ghost craze classic Pac Man. Great fluid animation and gameplay plus no harass approach to hidden fruits makes this game a real gameplay pleasure. There is an increase in hardness level near the half but this surely brings the score on the game up. Unavoidable for any nostalgic hog, who can`t thik of a better way to amuse himself than running away from ghosts for past 30 years.

Pac-Man World (officially called Pac-Man World 20th Anniversary) (パックマンワールド 20th アニバーサリー Pakkuman Wārudo 20th Anibāsarī) is a 1999 3D-based free roaming platform game for the PlayStation. As the name indicates, the game was released to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the Pac-Man character. A Game Boy Advance version would be released in 2004, with many features removed.

The original PlayStation version was released on the PlayStation Store in Japan on June 26, 2013 and in North America on February 11, 2014.
